Our Manifesto

1. Why Are We Here? 

Oui Together is a passionate bunch — diverse in every way: geography, background, profession, section (ALL FOUR!), passion, MBTI spectrum … you name it. BUT, every member of the team is driven by the same purpose: to work together for YOU in order to make the 26J journey 

the most student-driven year in INSEAD’s history.

Our team brings energy, experience, commitment, diversity, and a proven track record to ensure that our 26J Student Council becomes a platform that works with you, for you.

3. Our Vision 

We believe the Student Council should not only represent but also empower students. Our vision is to create a culture where:

• Innovation is embraced — Your ideas translate into real impact.

• Consulting, finance, entrepreneurship or whatever path fits your aspirations — we will work to ensure that this year delivers when it comes to meeting your goals.

• Every voice is heard — Student Council, Administration, and Faculty decisions should reflect your diversity, your creativity, and your feedback.

Together, we can shape a community that reflects the best of INSEAD: bold, inclusive, and collaborative.

4. Our Core Initiative:  STUDENT COUNCIL COMMUNITY CAPITAL

How it Works:

• A minimum of 50% of the roughly 40 000€ budget will be divided equally between each of the five periods (4000€ each).

• Apply for and receive grants from between 100€ to 1500€ to fund the things that matter most to you this year.

• Easily view SCCC budget spending allocations at any time. We'll make sure you know which initiatives get funded and by how much, so that you know we're using your budget responsibly and purposefully. 

• Any amount left over in the SCCC budget at the end of a period will rollover into the next period. 

• At the end of the year, all leftover funds—whether from the SCCC budget or the Student Council budget (the other 50%)—will go into making sure we have an incredible end-of-year party and trip!

5. An Iron-Clad Commitment to Transparency (because it's YOUR money)

• We'll Work in the Open: 

Our regular student-council meetings will be open to the public, with minutes published and opportunities for formal questions and comments.

• Every Euro Accounted For: 

All funding decisions for the Student Council Community Capital fund and other spending will be made publicly available for you to review and keep us honest and accountable.

• Fairness in Funding: 

It is our promise to you that every effort will be made to ensure that your student council budget is dispersed wisely and fairly. We promise to recuse ourselves on an individual basis for any decision or funding call where there might be a conflict of interest whether personal—say, for a club we particularly love—or financial—like a decision concerning language funding (Aris' wife being a French tutor).

We're considering a few different methods to make sure that SCCC disbursements are allocated in the most fair and impactful way possible, and if you have ideas, we want to hear them!

• Adaptable and Open: 

We fully commit to serving your interests above our intuition. In order to make this the most student-driven council in INSEAD's history, we believe in continuous improvement to the ways we do things based on your ongoing input and feedback. 

We can always be doing better, and we want to hear how so that we can make it happen.

6. INSEAD Student Council Beyond the SCCC — Our Core Commitments

• Impact-Driven: 

The INSEAD Student Council can't change everything, but it can drive meaningful change both on and off campus. By earmarking an absolute minimum of 50% of the Student Council budget to your ideas for creating a more inclusive, and better prepared 26J cohort, together, we can ensure that great things happen this year. 

We're counting on you to hold us to our promise to listen, to empower, and to deliver in order to make sure that your money and your time at INSEAD takes you as far as possible.

Oui Together aims to set the tone this year by building an inclusive and diverse coalition that collaborates across boundaries to get big things done when it comes to the core pillars of our INSEAD experience: Academics, Career, and Social Life. 

• New Ideas: 

The Student Council Community Capital fund isn't our only big idea, and the ones that it might fund aren't your only ideas, either. We're committed to embracing innovation and change because "that's the way it's always been done" doesn't cut it in 2025 and 2026. The world, the economy, and the job market are changing fast, and INSEAD and your Student Council needs to keep pace. 

Oui Together recognizes the need for an agile outlook that can embrace bold ideas and understands the need to bring you the resources you need to succeed. That's why we want to hear from you both now and throughout the year about the ways we can make sure you succeed. 

We'll strive to bring exciting speakers and thought leaders from across industries and ways of thinking to make the INSEAD MBA the most relevant program in the world in the age of Generative AI.

• Students First:

 Oui Together is running for YOU. 

We're not ones to go looking for a fight, but we aren't afraid of taking a stand and won't back down when the moment calls for it. 

Whether at an individual or group level, we'll put you first by advocating for your interests every time—making sure that the administration, the faculty, recruiters, insurers, visa authorities—all of our stakeholders, internal or external— treat you with the respect you deserve. 

• Events: 

We understand that one of the most vital roles the student council plays is bringing us together for great opportunities that appeal to diverse interests. Much of our planning and our budget will be dedicated to funding and hosting exciting and impactful events for work and play. 

The Oui Together team brings a proven track record of organizing some of the best moments that have already made our year a memorable one—from Yacht Week and parties, to chiller dinners, and dedicated work events. 

We promise to make this year count by bringing you the most inclusive and impactful career and social events possible. 

• Aspirations: 

Whether you have your heart set on a post-MBA career in Consulting, Finance, Industry,  Entrpreneurship, Non-Profit, or any other field,  

you don't fit in a box, and your career search shouldn't, either. 

We believe that now, more than ever, it's essential for the 26J student council to prioritize enhancing opportunities for INSEAD students to compete across the board. 

The Oui Together commitment means that we will fight to get you the resources you need in your career search: new tools, expanded coffee chats, more speakers and recruiters, and coaching tailored to your needs as an individual. 

• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: 

Because INSEAD is at its best when we embrace the uniqueness in our individual stories, Oui Together means WE, TOGETHER. We're running for INSEAD student government on a mission of inclusion, so that nobody gets left out or left behind. Our team is one that brings to the table the same diversity that makes our student body great — in our geographical origins, our gender balance, our socioeconomic realities, and in our past experience and our plans for the future.

Through exciting initiatives, a commitment to active listening, and in the tone that we set, we believe that OUI MATTER. No matter who you love, where you're from, whether you're an introvert or an extrovert—we'll put you first.

Win or lose, the Oui Together team will keep fighting tirelessly to break down the barriers that divide us, because we believe in
