Some Suggestions... 

• Simplify access to resources
  The CDC data and student initiatives are rich, but overwhelming. In just one week, I’ve received endless emails and WhatsApp messages* (*yes, I did subscribe to lots of channels #fomo).
  How can we make key info easier to find — especially events led by student clubs or the CDC?
  💡 What about working towards centralizing them all in one calendar, with industry-related tags for a start?

• Bring top companies on campus, in partnership with Ext. Relations
  We've heard students say “I’m here because I want to make an impact afterwards”. We've heard "AI and sustainability issues are shaping the future" - yet are leaders in those fields coming to campus?
  Consulting recruiters were/are here these weeks, and the path to a successful career in consulting is clear. However, how do we also attract companies tackling the biggest challenges and opportunities ahead?
  💡 Mobilizing students’ backgrounds and connections, and working closely with the CDC team is a seed idea. 🤔

• Leverage our community power, in partnership with Events
  Together, we can help each other succeed in our next career moves!
  💡 Depending on our needs, we can set up more CV reviews, LinkedIn reviews, and interview prep groups etc.

Inspirations / Top 4 Career Initiatives led by Marie-Nicole, the 25Ds' current VP Careers

• 1. 1.  “Demystifying” series: regular panels with Js, Ds, and alumni for casual Q&A sessions on specific topics (Entrepreneurship, Product Management, VC, PE, IB)

     2. “Speed Networking” events: short 5–10 minute rotations with fellow students to connect, learn more about each other and exercise networking

     3. "Peer-to-Peer Mentoring”: during the recruiting season, offer peer interview prep (consulting case studies, product management, IB prep). Student volunteers serving as coaches receive x€ per session, up to 10 sessions each.

     4. “Recent Alumni” Database: compile contact details and up-to-date industry information for current cohorts on campus and for alumni who graduated within the last five years

How I see the role? I view the VC Careers position as a coordination role -  consolidating the efforts of both the school and the students: listening to our needs, voicing them, and aligning solutions. Let’s be creative and impactful within our community - oui, together!

What I like most about the oui-together team? We are bold disruptors with big hearts! We are genuinely committed to improving our fellow students lives on campus and beyond: we love listening to your opinions & ideas, and we'd like to empower you through the launch of the Community Capital initiative 💪. See, we come up with a bunch of exciting ideas too, and we bring them to life in no time — like this last-minute campaign we’re running thoughtfully, kindly, and all-in!!!
