Hi everyone! I'm Fauzan from Section E2. Before we get to know each other further, let's address the responsibilities of the VP of Clubs and Initiatives. Here is a brief summary from INSEAD:
Well, I'm aware that you've already had many pre-readings, so please allow me to summarize it. :)
The VP of Clubs and Initiatives acts as the central liaison for all student clubs and is responsible for:
Facilitating communication and collaboration between club leaders, faculty, MBA, GEMBA, and MIM.
Mediating conflicts (if any) at the club leadership level.
Spearheading key initiatives.
10 Years of Experience in Account Management at Coca-Cola and Red Bull
Anyone familiar with this role will understand that an account manager is trained and experienced in achieving targets while handling multiple demands, interests, and conflicts from different stakeholders, such as retailers, wholesalers, the field sales team, the manufacturing team, the delivery team, the warehouse team, the marketing team, and top management.
2.5 Years of Experience in Leading Multiple SMEs.
As the Head of Business in my last company, my team and I managed nine fast-growing and profitable Small and Medium Enterprises spanning across different industries, such as PC & Gaming Peripherals, Adult and Kids Fashion, Home Electronics, Furniture, Hair Care, and Seasoning Products. Spearheading impactful and cross-business initiatives is something that I love and did a lot in that job.
I Am an Active Listener with a Mission
I like listening to people, especially about their aspirations and ideas. My mantra of “talk less, listen more, do more” helps me connect with people's ideas and solve their issues.
After listening to our classmates and faculty, I have a mission if you elect me as VP of Clubs and Initiatives: to help you find and connect with 'your people' during your time at INSEAD. Some of us are lucky enough to find people with whom we truly connect through classes, study groups, parties, etc. But some others have not yet found 'their people.' I believe that with INSEAD's extensive background and diversity, you will always find someone who connects with you. And I will help you do it through clubs and events.

Clubs Initiatives
Club Legacy: A platform or shared drive with a clear pathway to clubs' events, calendars, documents, and achievements that is accessible to all interested students. This will include previous years' activities so that current and incoming students can find and, hopefully, revive inactive clubs or create a new leadership team in leaderless clubs.
Club Day: A day to focus on only one club, where students can really get to know the club and its team better.
Joined events with the VP of Careers, VP of Communication & Events, and relevant clubs to get funding and maximize support and ideas on providing career, impact, and leisure events to all students.
Regular consultation on the Student Council Community Capital application.
Regular sessions for students and clubs on how to fund your initiatives from a community impact perspective.
Assess the proposal’s readiness and the possibility of being accepted.
Do you think the ideas may work to help you to find and connect with ‘your people’ in INSEAD? If yes, please tell your friends to vote for us! If not, please tell us how to improve it. We always love to listen to more ideas and points of improvement! We will be in front of Freddy’s during the campaign days. See you there! Cheers!
